1. All in our circles are talking about war

A big war. A ww3 type war.

We're still a little off would be my take. And the shape and size will probably not be ww3.

I don't see the potentials. We have just seen Iran turning away from war. Mature countries handle this issue a little differently. The economic potentials are not arrayed as in rhe 1st or 2nd great wars.

This is not to say that war will not continue by other means. The regional potentials are shaping up. Take a look at the Valdai Club discussion where these analytical folks struggle to define the term strategic stability and strain to discuss whether strategic stability is even possible in a multipolar world. This is an important question today. Also take a look at Telesur where currently in Honduras the scuttlebut and action is that the US again is busy with an attemp to install their very own president.

The indication is strong that our favorite uncle is regionally attempting to destabilise and control. They do not have what they think they should have and this may be the war of the future.

The rest, the inane utterings of Blinken and pals seem to me a clear clown show desined to take attention away from the real attempts to win back countries at least in the LatAm. Russia, China and Iran for example is just the very same as Nutty-yahoo talking about Hamas as if Hamas is a real threat and the only threat.

The US student protests against Israel's genocide herald major change

I have never seen Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu look so anguished as in the video he posted on 'X' on Thursday, in which he condemned the student protests in US universities, branded them anti-Semitic, likened them to 1930s Germany, and demanded forcible measures to suppress them.

Netanyahu knows the US well. He knows the explosion of student protests may not stop until his racist regime meets its end — like the Vietnam War, the apartheid state in South Africa, and racial segregation in the US itself. Student revolts there have a history of persisting until they have achieved their aims.

Netanyahu considers his greatest achievement to have been his ability to US public opinion via his extensive mega-million dollar 'hasbara' network, by employing lies and deception and raising the sword of 'Anti-Semitism' against all critics of Israel's massacres in occupied Palestine.

He now sees his extraordinary success in stifling free speech crumbling before his eyes. The protests on US college campuses are wrecking his most important accomplishment, thanks to the steadfastness and sacrifices of the people of the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu and the Zionist movement in general are greatly alarmed by this growing student revolt — and the prospect of its spreading within the US and beyond to Europe and elsewhere — for a number of good reasons.

— It began in elite US colleges such as Columbia and Harvard, which means that the next generation of American influencers will not be as susceptible to Zionist propaganda as their parents and grandparents. The students arrested and beaten up for protesting against Israel's behaviour are not working-class kids. They are the sons and daughters of congress members, businesspeople, and the ruling political class — America's future leaders.

— These protestors will never forgive or forget being likened to Nazis for objecting to Nazi-like practices in the Gaza Strip by a state that constantly presents itself as the victim and nemesis of Nazism.

— The protestors include large numbers of young Jewish Americans, raising Palestinian flags and wearing kufiyehs. This is a powerful slap to the face of Netanyahu and his ilk, and self-evident refutation of the charges of Ani-Semitism.

— The weakening of Zionist control over traditional Western mainstream media and their ability to shape the global narrative in Israel's favour. That is largely due to spread of social media. It is true that major social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Google, and others remain subject to that control. But more choices have become available. And even within those platforms, there have been protests by employees against their pro-Israeli bias and suppression of the Palestinian narrative.

— The growing realisation among the US public at large, Jews included, that their governments' support for Israel's massacres jeopardises the US's own interests: dragging the country into unwanted wars and draining its taxpayers' dollars.

— Israel's demands for the peaceful student protests to be suppressed are a blatant attempt to quash freedom of expression. Not just anywhere, but in key bastions of the values and freedoms on which Western political systems are supposed to be based.

The insolence of it all reached new heights when Israeli security minister Itamar Bin-Gvir called for the formation of armed militias in the US and other Western countries to protect Jewish communities and institutions. A shameless affront to the constitutional and security institutions of the states that did most to establish and sustain his state. He wants to create Zionist mini-states within them to reward them for supporting the Zionist state for 75 years.

I feel confident that the student protests in the US portend major change, both within the country and beyond.

ICCIMA to host Iran-Cuba Business Forum on April 30 (Tehran Times)

TEHRAN – Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) is going to host a joint business forum of Iran and Cuba on April 30.

The forum will be held as part of a visit to Tehran by the president of the Cuba Chamber of Commerce at the head of a 13-member delegation, the ICCIMA portal reported.

It is said to be participated by the state and private sectors of the two countries and will be focused on the potential of the markets as well as the trade and investment advantages of both Iran and Cuba.

The business forum will also be followed by B2B meetings of Iranian and Cuban businesspeople active in different areas, including steel, mines, pharmaceuticals, renewable energies, and electricity.

Iran, Cuba agree to establish sister ports to facilitate trade (Tehran Times)

TEHRAN – Iran and Cuba have agreed to establish a twinning relationship between two major ports in each countries to facilitate shipping and trade.

The decision was made during a Saturday meeting between Iranian Minister of Transport and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash and Cuban Transport Minister Eduardo Rodriguez Davila in Tehran, IRNA reported.

"The Cuban side requested to use the capacity of Iran's ports and shipping to export their products and transport their cargoes, which was agreed upon, and it was decided that they will visit the Iranian ports," Bazrbash said after the meeting.

It was decided to establish a twinning relationship between two major ports of Iran and Cuba, so that Cuban economic actors and maritime transport companies can benefit from Iranian ports, he added.

The Cuban minister also stated that the purpose of this visit was to follow up on agreements reached between the two countries in the past and to plan for new projects.

The Saturday meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the fields of maritime, air, and rail transportation between Iran and Cuba.

Italy will supply Ukraine with long-range SCALP EG/Storm Shadow missiles, British Defense Secretary Shapps said in an interview with The Times.

5. From human created hell

I fell into the hands of those that only wanted to help. We all know if a .Gov type wants to help, run the other way. I could not run and had to drink the container of bitter water put in front of me. I could decide not to drink of course, but one needs water. On that wheelchair because the infection that took my husband out, made me unable to walk and on that wheelchair I literally cussed my hips and legs into action. When I reached 4 indepemdent steps, holding on to anything, but walking, I swore to reach 1,000 asap and worked through the pain. Yes, there was pain but painkillers cause either too much action or too little – so I worked through and rested when it was necessary.

Thing is the helper generation is somewhat insane – not all but the majority. When I could not walk and needed total assistance, these helpers where happy. But, the more independence the more unhappy helpers. Their raison d'etre disappeared and was under threat I was now an erstwhile enemy. This was food for the ,gov and i have 4 schoolbooks full of essays and notes – my punitive action (how dare i get healthy while caring for my son – how dare I be a human that may not need the help – they are here to help Dammit and they will help! SO sit on your wheelchair and dont walk – the physio did say do excercises but don't walk yet and I ignored that, hauled myself up and picked up my bed and walked. Of course the excercises were done as well. So punitive action and phone and computers were taken so that I could rest. They were helping dammit.

The clinic spat me out and I ended up with a bunch of nuns dedicated to education for teenage girls – a nice bunch of people and it went so well, I was so independent that the nuns said so and said it is a shame that the 'socalleď help' is of no value. Oh dear god – the new human rights guidance has been passed by the appropriate UN organisms, local laws were drawn and I am such a good 'tema', theme, to show off how the new system should work. In the meantime I had no access to any documentation, have not done a thing since my husband passed, have no connectivity besides the odd tv show which is unwatchable – and i was 'humanely locked up.'

I am somewhat free now – after the nuns talked about insanity and they all cried when I was jerked out of there because we had a good time, I was placed and this I must be very careful with, a house dedicated to the support of migrants to the US. I know exactly how it works – met folks from Brazil through the whole of LatAm. But really I know nothing besides a bunch of t-shirts that came my way through this massive organization.

So I am slowly coming back – with tablet only so far. My son is well cared for and our shenanigans to remove me from .go…..v hands are successful. I cannot possibly mix with male migrants its dangerous you know, but we were lucky that I was offered a shared house on the spot – non .gov. So tonight I am not locked up besides locking the house as is normal. Yes shenanigans!
